Probably, Mie would never know it, but nothing had changed on Earth, and at the same time, everything was different. Fifteen years was nothing in the temporary space immensity of the largest surface or extension thought of by humans: the galaxy. The seventeen years of Mie on that galaxy, applied on human life, particularly if it took place during a difficult period, would have been, or should have been very profitable. A decade meant almost fifteen percent of a human life, a great lapse of time in which —maybe due to biological reasons such as cell regeneration— things that could change the course of our lives more or less permanently happened. If those things did not happen, if those changes were not experienced, our existence would mutate all the same, although the changing experience would be different. Time was very important in our planet.
